Kitchen & Industrial Systems
Our professionally trained and certified technicians will perform the kitchen or industrial fire suppression system inspection to meet the local, state and federal codes, and insurance company requirements. You will gain the peace of mind that your system was expertly inspected to meet the manufacturer's recommendations. Eliminating false discharges and system failures that cause downtime will be our highest priority. We will present you with a detailed inspection report and certification tag as well as training in the proper use and maintenance of your system so in a fire situation everyone will be prepared to respond appropriately. Kitchen fire suppression systems along with industrial systems are required to be inspected on a semi-annual basis as a minimum requirement of NFPA 17A (kitchen-wet systems) and NFPA 17 (industrial-dry systems). Our software system will keep a record of when inspections are due so you never have to worry about being delinquent or non-complaint on required inspections.
We service most brands of fire suppression systems.
UL300
In the last 10 years major developments have changed the ways of commercial cooking. Cooking equipment currently manufactured uses more efficient burners, resulting in much higher heating rates. More cooking is done with vegetable oil instead of animal fats. Vegetable oils have a much higher auto ignition temperature. Fryers are now made with improved insulation that slows the cooling rate, but which also increases the risk of a re-flash in the event of fire. Kitchen fires are much harder to extinguish than they were 10 or 20 years ago.
Regulatory Requirements
All kitchen fire suppression systems manufactured after 1994 must comply with the UL 300 standard to account for increased commercial cooking times and temperatures. Dry chemical kitchen systems have been replaced with wet systems to accommodate hotter and longer cooking times.
All Safe installs only the highest quality kitchen hood fire suppression systems from Badger Fire Protection. All of our technicians are factory trained and licensed.
